3 exercises that can help prevent back pain

The back is one of the areas of our bodies where we often feel pain. To avoid this pain, you have to strengthen it with these three exercises.

Having back pain is a daily thing for lots of people. Generally linked to poor posture and a lack of activity (office work, time spent in a car), you have to pay attention to this area so as to avoid suffering every day.

That’s why it is important to strengthen your back, especially more so for those of you who weight train, since this can help you progress in some exercises such as bench press. So here are three exercises which you can do to ease your spinal cord.

The Superman

Lying on your belly with your arms extended out in front of you, lift your chest and your legs to activate your lower back. Hold this position and then relax. Do this movement a dozen times before taking a break. Do three rounds.

The incline

In a lunge position, lean your chest forward with your arms above your head, keeping your spine straight. Hold the dumbbells in your hand (or bottles of water) and hold the position. Then change leg and start again.

The cat and cow

Either on all fours or standing. Curve your back in without pushing it too much. Hold the position for a few seconds and then arch your back in a natural way. Do these two positions a dozen times.
