This time there’s no protein filled breakfast or anything else like that, as your routine begins when you wake up. Between the six to eight hours sleep you get a night, there’s not much chance to hydrate properly and it is therefore important to drink water and re-hydrate the body.

Then for those who have pull up bars, this would be a great time to do some pull ups. It’s all about grabbing the bar, no matter what you’re doing (pronation or supination) and dropping your pelvis for a minute, allowing your spine to relax after all that sleep. After this, your body will be more mobile and you’ll also have more grip.

Finally, grab the pull up bar again and stay upright. Once you’ve got the position you want, lift your legs a little, just enough to get your abdominals working. Hold this position for a minute.

All in all, this routine doesn’t take more than three minutes and allows your body to attack the day in a better way, to be fit and perform better at the gym.
