Coming in third in the 2019 Strongman competition, the Icelander wants to get back to the top and is training hard to beat the new Polish phenomenon Mateusz Kieliszkowski and Martin Licis, the last winner of the competition.
A new record about to be broken?
Looking at the photos, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson looks very fit and still has a small margin to make up with his bar weighing 480 kg. Now it remains to be seen whether he will try to equalise or, better still, break Eddie Hall's record set in 2017.
The Strongman 2020 competition will take place from Wednesday 20th to Sunday 24th of May in Bradenton, Florida.
