There's A Hidden Message On Black Panther's Suit That You Never Noticed

An internet user has spotted a hidden easter egg in the Marvel blockbuster.

In early August, Black Panther surpassed the symbolic and historic £500 million bar at the US box office, six months after its theatrical release. However one detail of the film went unnoticed by almost everyone who saw it…

This particularly well-hidden ‘easter egg’ was spotted by a Reddit user, which can be seen as young King T'Challa tries on the new suit designed by his sister Shuri for the first time. After taking a hit, purple Wakandan symbols appear on the surface of the suit.

Wakandan is a made up language (inspired by Xhosa, spoken in South Africa), but it has a translatable alphabet thanks to a tool launched in parallel with the film's release in cinemas. Once deciphered, the message on T'Challa's suit can be translated as ‘I love you mom.’

This is a nod to Ramonda, mother of Shuri and adoptive mother of T'Challa, played by Angela Bassett.
