They Thought He Was Lying About His Mother's Whereabouts Until An Excavation In The Garden Proved Him Right

His mother disappeared he was only 3 years old. 'Dad hurt mom' - he told the police. Nobody believed him. A macabre discovery in his house's garden has proved him right.

Aaron Frased did not have an easy childhood. When he was three, his mother disappeared and he was later adopted by another family, as his father lost custody.

Since that last day he saw his mother, her whereabouts have always been a mystery. The relationship between his parents was coming to an end and arguments between the two were frequent.

As it became known later, his mother, Bonnie Haim, fed up with the situation and afraid that her husband would react violently to a divorce, had secretly begun to save money to escape with her son.

His father found out and forced her to close the savings account she had secretly opened. Bonnie continued saving thanks to the help of friends, until she disappeared in January 1993.

According to the summary of the case, Aaron's father left him in the care of his grandparents while he went out to look for his mother on that fateful day when she disappeared. He returned just 45 minutes later and never reported the disappearance to the police.

When the police began investigating Bonnie's whereabouts (her disappearance was reported by the family), they only found her car parked at the city's airport. In a nearby container, her purse was found. The driver's seat in the car was too far from the steering wheel for a person Bonnie's height.

None of the evidence found directly incriminated Aaron's father as responsible for her disappearance. Except one: little Aaron's testimony. He was only three but was very clear about what happened. "Dad hurt mom" - he told the police. They did not believe him.

Twenty years later Aaron has gotten the family home after a lawsuit against his father. The macabre discovery made in the backyard of the house has proved him right and reopened the case.

As you will see in the video, Aaron will never forget what he found. He just hopes that, this time, law enforcement will believe him.
