Michael Schumacher’s Wife Recently Gave A Moving Interview He Was Placed In A Medically Induced Coma

Corinna had a lot to say thank you for and has recently given quite a touching interview thanking and praising her husband.

The couple has been together since 1991 and married since 1995. Corinna and Michael Schumacher have gone through a lot together but since his ski accident in 2013, news about Michael has been very scarce.

Statement of Michael's family: "We are very happy to celebrate Michael's 50th birthday tomorrow together with you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts that we can do this together. As a gift to him, you and us, Keep Fighting Foundation has created a virtual museum. The Official Michael Schumacher App will be released tomorrow, so that we can review all together Michael's successes. The app is another milestone in our effort to do justice to him and you, his fans, by celebrating his accomplishments. We wish you a lot of fun with it. Michael can be proud of what he has achieved, and so are we! That's why we remember his successes with the Michael Schumacher Private Collection exhibition in Cologne, by publishing memories in social media and by continuing his charitable work through the Keep Fighting Foundation. We want to remember and celebrate his victories, his records and his jubilation. You can be sure that he is in the very best of hands and that we are doing everything humanly possible to help him. Please understand if we are following Michael's wishes and keeping such a sensitive subject as health, as it has always been, in privacy. At the same time we say thank you very much for your friendship and wish you a healthy and happy year 2019." @keepfighting #Michael50 #TeamMichael

The Schumacher family has kept silent and private about the exact state of his health. But we are getting more and more little glimmers of hope, and he is currently still in recovery and living in his converted home in Switzerland.

Lots of support

But there has been some updates and news about his girls. His wife Corinna recently opened up to She’s Magazine to thank her husband for all the support she receives from him. He has always supported her dreams and ambitions and as she revealed in this interview, Michael even flew to Dubai with her on her 30th birthday to help her pick out a horse.

Corinna is an enthusiastic rider and instantly fell in love with a western horse named Tyson which they then bought together. As well as this, she revealed that Michael even gave her a horse ranch for their 10th anniversary in 2005 and Corinna went on to become the European champion in western style horse riding in 2010. Her interview thanking him for all his support really was quite touching.

‘I don’t forget who I have to thank for this. That would be my husband Michael.’
