During an interview with the ‘life coach’ Megan Abbott, who shared a little teaser on Twitter, the young Lebanese woman claims that the porn industry isn’t actually as profitable as you might think. From the few films that she appeared in, she only earned… ,000 in total.
‘People think I’m racking in millions from porn. Completely untrue. I made a TOTAL of ,000 in the industry and never saw a penny again after that,’ revealed Mia Khalifa in the caption of this Tweet, before continuing:
‘Difficulty finding a normal job after quitting porn was… scary.’
Forced into retirement… by ISIS
To recap, Mia Khalifa confessed the reason she gave up her porn career in February 2018 during her appearance on the podcast The Forward with the former cycling champion Lance Armstrong.
‘It all started to spiral out of control when the death threats from ISIS started coming in. That’s when I stepped away. […] Looking back on it, I don’t know what I was thinking… I was 21 and dumb […] I just wanted to let loose and rebel,’ she confessed.
