After starting out taking selfies on Insta aged 18, Birmingham model Demi Rose Mawby quickly caught the attention of some big names and has since appeared on World Star Hip Hop and in FHM Magazine. She's remained a huge star on Instagram - with over 8 million followers with whom she regularly shares sultry selfies.

However, being a big star can have its downsides, and Demi Rose has come under fire for her most recent post as she shared her 24th birthday outfit. Whilst plenty of her followers were big fans of the revealing outfit - which comprised a black and gold bra and split skirt teamed with a lavish gold headdress and an off-the-shoulder black and gold-embroidered robe - several left comments accusing her of cultural appropriation.
Whilst several commenters said Demi Rose was being appropriative because 'Cleopatra was black', others defended the model, pointing out that the Egyptian queen is actually believed to have been of Greek descent.
