This Video of a Ferocious Dog Attacking a Little Girl Has Shocked the Internet

This video shows a wild dog attacking a 5-year-old little girl in Colorado in the USA, and the striking footage has left lots of people shook on social media.

The following tragic events which were filmed by nearby security cameras took place in the state of Colorado, in the car park of a church to be more specific.

The video begins showing a family in the church’s car park. At the bottom of the street, a dog appears and proceeds to wildly sprint towards the family.

Without a second thought, it ran directly towards the little girl and savagely attacked her. The desperate parents tried to separate their daughter from this vicious dog who had managed to hook itself onto her left arm.

Thanks to the help of three more people who happened to be nearby, they managed to free the little girl from the dog’s grip. Immediately afterwards, they took her to the hospital to get her checked out and fortunately, the little girl only had moderate injuries on her left bicep and forearm.

According to a report published by Fox News, the dog’s owner was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a dangerous animal. The owner was also found to not meet the basic requirements put in place for a responsible pet owner, such as keeping their animal under control or on a leash at all times. After what happened, the owner had the dog put down in compliance with the rules surrounding dangerous dogs in Colorado.

Similar rules also apply to the possession of dangerous animals in the UK and you could be fined or even receive jail time if your dog injures somebody or worse. The rules state which breeds of dog are dangerous to keep as pets and also indicates which breeds are illegal to own in the UK. However, it’s important to remember that not all dogs are dangerous and that, at the end of the day, it really comes down to how they are trained and treated by their owners.
