Most people who visit the zoo love to admire the exotic, beautiful animals from the other side of the fence, but not one woman. She seemingly felt it was more important to show off her fearlessness rather than worry about her safety or the lion’s life.

How was she able to hop the fence? Well, the Bronx Zoo has a low fence, allowing visitors to get a closer look at their lion sanctuary. The short walls were built to help enhance the overall zoo experience. John Rubbo, a zoo visitor, told CBS New York:
At this exhibit, there’s low walls, so you want to get close enough to see what’s going on, but you don’t want to have these high fences in front of all the exhibits.
He mentioned that high walls take "the fun out of the zoo". But this woman’s actions could have taken the fun out of the zoo, too! Some people noted that if the lion would’ve attacked her,the zoo may have had no choice but to put the gorgeous animal down.
Thankfully, the male lion saw her, looked around, and opted not to attack the lady waving at him. The “fearless” woman claims that she had a spiritual connection with the lion.
However, the situation could’ve been much worse. And everyone seems to recognise this but her. One person left a comment saying, “Greetings from Africa,” They continued, “You really should not be doing that. Speaking from experience.” The Bronx Zoo stated:
This action was a serious violation and unlawful trespass that could have resulted in serious injury or death.
